Now, CNC milling machine has been widely used in our life, especially in industry. However, it has always been a difficult problem to test and record the tool wear degree of CNC milling machine. Now we invite experts to introduce how to record the tool wear of CNC milling machine.

In the past, people mainly used magnifiers integrated with measuring rulers to inspect the universal milling machine, which can improve the flexibility of measurement, but because of the differences in the control staff, the measurement results will be inconsistent. Similar results can show another measurement system: on the one hand, although the fixed measurement system has good economy, but the portable function is poor; on the other hand, the simple mobile measurement system has low measurement accuracy, poor imaging quality and inadequate measurement depth. Now the universal milling machine mainly uses graphics to show the production efficiency of cutting tools, and the wear and scratch depth (VB) gradually deepens with the increase of service life.

Optimizing the processing process can put the whole system into portable containers and equipped with necessary spare batteries, chargers or cleaning appliances. Construction of measurement system: Digital cameras equipped with magnetic tripod are arranged directly in front of the turntable milling cutter of NC milling machine. The high quality of pictures, convenient operation of measurement system and evaluation software are our major advantages. 1) User-friendly measurement software: Abrascan, the evaluation software included in the wear measurement package, can measure interval (D), angle (A) and radius. Click on the "spacing" icon to display the relevant dimensions in millimeters. More interval and angle measurements can also be displayed in separate pictures. Right-click on the mouse can copy the relevant data and save it as Excel table file. This can greatly simplify the formation process of wear scratch width. Other auxiliary functions, such as brightness, contrast and gray level, are also available. Because the system of universal milling machine is based on Office software, users can use it quickly without additional training.

2) Output measurement: The formation process of natural wear can be achieved by storing the measurement value in the table calculation software of X5036A vertical milling machine. Abrascan, a wear measurement system, can identify extremely small wear marks and measure them. Therefore, the tool can be optimized. Abrascan image can show that the cross axis is the chip interval of the tool, unit meter; the longitudinal axis is the wear scratch width VB, unit millimeter; the three curves are tool A, B and C respectively.

3) Turntable: Wear scratch width VB = 0.136mm: Measuring process is as follows: digital camera is fixed on magnetic tripod, and magnetic tripod can be used to measure the length of milling machine directly without removing cutter from bracket or spindle. The X6132A horizontal milling machine has a display screen that can rotate freely, and can shoot at any position. Therefore, users can shoot at any time just by turning on the digital camera. Of course, people who are interested in photography can also fine-tune according to different occasions. Rotor pump can transfer stored pictures to notebook computer through USB data line and use software to evaluate.
